RADIO REVIEW
I did my report on 90.7 fm on Thursday nights from 1am to 2am I thought they played really good hip hop but their radio show was the most unorganized show I have ever heard. They announced artists they were going to play then put on a totally different artist this shows that they are not organized. When people would call in to rap a verse on air they kept stuffing up the beat and constantly saying to the caller sorry man this thing keeps playing up. This is bad because they are drawing attention to the problem which is very annoying for the audience. Through out the show every second word was f…. which I found made the show sound very unprofessional.
90.7 hip hop show has two hosts which up date you with what’s happening in the Melbourne and USA rap scene T he show starts with the two hosts introducing their show while a hip hop instrumental plays in the background. After that they back announce their phone line and the interviews that will be happening on the show. They also have call ins from local rappers and read out the latest’s information on new up coming artists.
Compared to other Hip Hop shows 90.7 fm from 1 am till 2 am sounds very unorganized and professional. Through out the whole hour I only heard them back announce their show once which is not good for promotion. Something else I found that was missing from the show and a lot of hip hop shows have it is telling the audience what gigs they will be going to and how you can get or win free tickets.
I didn’t think anything on this show was creative or professional they need to be a lot more organized and have the right tracks for what they back announce. The only thing that would keep people tuned in to this station is the music they play
