Radio Comparison
I did my comparison on the Matt and Jo show and the Hughsey and Kate show which both start from 7am and go till 9am.
I thought both of the shows were very funny in the morning and had similar topics to talk about. I found in the morning they had traffic reports around 8am and updated them at 9am.Both of the stations have a lot of comedy about famous sports people and Australian celebrities. I also found that the Matt and Jo show had the same song played twice in the space of and hour. I think that Hamish and Andy get along more friendly than matt and Jo because Matt and Jo have their strong disagreements. Hughsey and Kate will have a disagreement but be able to see each others point of view. Matt and Jo play more music between their interviews. Were Hughsey and Kate have more ads between speaking to call ins. If I wanted to know about the traffic jams and which route to take home from the city. I would definitely listen to Matt and Jo Because they have a better description of ways around the area. I think that both shows would have a very similar audience they would defiantly be competing against each other.
